A Southern Grace: deja vu

deja vu

Yum

I like it. I love it. I want some more of it.

Yeah, you've seen all these before. But I'd be remiss if I didn't show them again--they're all that good.

First, good ol' chicken barbecue with cole slaw on sourdough bread. See all that fresh-cracked black pepper? It's the perfect accent to a delicious combination.

Next up, we have the mint fudge remix. If you haven't tried this yet, I greatly encourage it. Why wait for a holiday to pamper yourself? There are other food colorings.

Finally, bananner puddin'--smooth and creamy and full of banana-ness. So what if the recipe's full of shortcuts? It's divine.

Keep cool, my babies--original stuff coming soon.

I generally don't use words like...delicious and yum but whatever - if the shoe fits, wear it... these all fit the category.

Mint fudge remix....oh yeah!

Giz you are too funny. I use the words delicious and yum all the time and this post does warrant it. It looks like a lot of goey yumminess!

I'm happy for a recap of these foods, when they look this good! Can you believe that I've never tried banana pudding? I need to fix that situation-stat!

Oh man, our 4-year old nephew just taught my husband "I like it. I love it. I want some more of it." at Thanksgiving and my husband has been saying it over and over again randomly for the past 6 weeks! No doubt he'll say it again when I show him this post :-)

Grace, if I had to choose between chocolate and banana pudding, I have to admit that I would probably take the banana pudding. There I said it. My chocolate addiction made that tough to get the words out but I did it. Whew.
And as for your mint fudge I can stand here and proclaim with all my tastes buds that yes, yes, this is amazing. And everyone at work is asking for more.

I like recap posts since it makes it easier to bookmark! Maybe I'll have all 3 for dinner tomorrow night ;)

Recaps always welcome, especially in the festive season... I thought that mint fudge was coconut ice at first - mint fudge is MUCH more exciting :)

Looks like a meal I wouldn't want to miss! Yum!!

Just so you know... about the banana pudding... I grew up "out west" where it wasn't a big thing. SO, I move here to Ohio with my Tennessee/Kentucky-rooted husband, and he's eaten LOTS of banana pudding. So I come along, wanting to impress him, and I make the whole thing from scratch. What happens? bottom line... it's not as good as his mama's, which is (I think) close to yours. So,there you go... yours is the real deal!

And it looks delish :)
