Banana ginger jam. I like banana bread as much as the next person. In fact, I've been known to buys bananas solely for that purpose rather than wait for some to go uneaten.

pretty in pea
YumPea soup with coriander. Peas go with mint just about as well as chocolate goes with peanut butter. That's a fact.

slurpy surprise
YumSesame soba noodles with chicken. I didn't expect to like soba noodles. My one and only experience with buckwheat (pancakes) was a disaster (hockey pucks).
