Guess ...I love macaroons but have never made them. Guess it's time to change that. Yea, I remember when I had to run 3 blocks to catch up to our dachshund who escaped. Our neighbor's old dog died, they got a pup a while back and I don't get it: Neither left/leave the yard, never go out on the street even when another dog walks by, and both obey the couple of owners. It amazes all of us neighbors; they trained them by snapping a newspaper against their leg (owner's leg) and saying "no" when the dog disobeyed. Good luck with your guy!Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02158336083462589188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8086092172497469041.post-58338423196979237162016-03-28T07:45:43.573-04:002016-03-28T07:45:43.573-04:00My dog doesn't come either...unless you use th...My dog doesn't come either...unless you use the word "cookie" when you are calling her, and then miraculous things happen. The second person had to take the "thief" to court to geth their dog back!

I always worry when Iggy is visiting because he is such a spoiled brat and doesn't listen as he should. Your dog story reminded me of that.

Your macaroons look great. I made a lemon angel torte the other day, but I used egg whites that had been in the fridge for 2 days, and despite beating the living tarnation out of them, it didn't rise quite right. I guess it didn't matter, since my dearly beloved scarfed it down anyway.
