grill > toaster

Have you ever had a grilled bagel?

It has all the crunchiness of a toasted bagel but with the added flavors of smoke and char that many (including me) find so appealing. I know many grills will be fired up over Labor Day weekend, and I encourage you to make a stop at your local Bruegger's Bagels and pick up some of their fantastic bagels to prepare. They have flavors ranging from cinnamon raisin to rosemary olive oil and everything in between (including the summer special, pretzel!) and are even offering $3 off their Big Bagel Bundle. You can claim your offer at http://bit.ly/2v3vEoy.

To grill a bagel, the method is simple: Slice those things open and give the cut sides a generous schmear of butter. Place them cut-side down on the grill over indirect heat and soon the bread will be hot and crusty and ready to top! Whether you fancy good ol' cream cheese (blueberry Greek yogurt is the special at Bruegger's, and it IS special!) or something more adventurous (like, say, turning it into a bagel ice cream sandwich), the flavor of grilled Bruegger's bagels is the perfect Labor Day weekend treat!
