hit six

In researching my top posts for the year, I learned that my most-viewed posts were actually old ones from previous years. Either my blogging skills are deteriorating or everyone else is just putting out better content. My bet is that it's a little of the former and a lot of the latter.

Regardless, here are my top six posts from this year, in case you were curious:

A pie that never fails to impress, dazzle, and please coconut-lovers:

A pie that never fails to impress, dazzle, and please my boo:

A quick fix that tastes a lot better than it looks:

A refreshing way to use up the glorious garden goodies:

A cake that's appropriate for any time of day:

A cake that's worthy of anything as awesome a birthday celebration or as mundane as a snack:

2015 was a good year. I got engaged, instantly became enamored with a (mostly) darling puppy, and turned a lot of labor into a lot of success in our first garden. I hope your year was wonderful as well!

Peace out, 2015!

  1. My top posts are ALWAYS from a few years back, starting with my recipe for homemade ricotta cheese which always leads the pack by a mile. I think you and I should consider these our Greatest Hits! Looking forward to trying out yours - have a happy new year, and hello 2016!!

  2. Meh - my all time top post is about a just-add-water pavlova from a plastic egg. I have never written anything more successful.

If you like honey and sweet drinks, you'd probably like mead. They vary, but the one we had for Solstice was very, very honey-y.
