A Southern Grace: hot diggity dawg!

hot diggity dawg!

Yum

Well, what do you know. Looks like I need to take back all my negative words about TasteSpotting, for they have deigned to post one of my pictures. I do believe that I'm in shock.

As it turns out (in my case, at least), the secret to getting posted is that someone else has to submit your photo. So I thank you, April in CT. You are my hero.

Things a sweet potato casserole can do:
-make me swoon
-earn me some r-e-s-p-e-c-t from TasteSpotting
-fight cancer
-morph into a cupcake
-remind me to call my grandma
-if overly-consumed (as I am wont to do), turn my palms, soles, knees, and nasolabial folds yellow-orange...(yes, I'll let you know if that happens)
-provide fuel for my car
-hammer out Beethoven's Fur Elise on the piano

Yeah, just kidding about that last one...or am I? Never underestimate the power of the sweet potato!

YAY!! I'm so glad you're happy. :) When I checked back to see they had posted it I got really excited, but it's a great picture so I had no doubts they'd put it up. Next time you make that sweet tater dessert try roasting them in the oven before you mush them up. I make mine that way and it's heavenly.

I adore the sweet potato and have no qualms about serving it deliciously masked as dinner when it is whipped up into a sweet casserole. In fact, I have some sweet potatoes in my kitchen right now ...

Hiya Grace,

WOOOHOO! GO GIRL! Watch the hits RISE.

I feel a bit awful, I know I visited before but not sure if I wrote a comment or not. I think you mentioned cakespy and I possibly wondered off....forgive me if I did.

I'll go have a browse now again.

;) Pix

Congrats! It is a great feeling, isn't it? I had the same issue and posted quite a rant about it last Nov. Then, a few months ago, TSP started posting my photos, even the not so great ones. After about 6 weeks, they suddenly stopped. It is frustrating! I don't know how they choose what to show.

I don't get Tastespotting. They posted the first thing I ever submitted to them, and then nothing since then. What's with that? It's exciting when they do, though! Way to go!
